TRADITIONAL ATTIRE
ICE's quality products include Lobedu and Tsonga attire, which is modeled here by ICE's founding members Margareth Raphotle and Motšatši Mathebula. Traditionally Lobedu and Tsonga women express their age, class, and married status via their attire, especially with beaded adornment. Notice the distinct color patterns, unique to each culture, e.g., Tsonga primary colors. This clothing and jewellery is not only worn by older women and khekhapa dancers. Even today women of Ga-Modjadji dress in full traditional mode for special occasions, including going to town, visiting friends, and attending weddings.
